Meet our founder, Gan Lu
Gan Lu is the founder and guiding spirit of Amrita Healthcare. Her name, meaning "nectar," reflects a destiny intertwined with healing. Growing up in a family of physicians, she inherited a deep reverence for TCM. She earned her bachelor's in integrated clinical medicine and a Master's in Acupuncture from Tianjin University of TCM, where she was honored as a Distinguished Alumna.
To refine her art, she pursued an advanced apprenticeship under renowned American acupuncture master, Dr. Wei Liu. This unique triad of family heritage, academic excellence, and elite mentorship defines her authoritative yet holistic approach.
In 2022, she established Amrita Healthcare in Toronto's Applecreek & Woodbine area. By focusing on root-cause healing and an unparalleled patient experience, she quickly built a trusted reputation in a competitive landscape. Her vision is to make the sophisticated "Yang Zheng" philosophy of the East an essential part of modern wellness.
